As both a professional firefighter of 18 years and an entrepreneur Scott has been serving in the role of HAZMAT team leader for over a decade. Scott has avery thorough understanding in maintaining compliance and operating under governing bodies. Specializing in instrumentation and monitoring devices used in detecting hazardous materials, Scott parlayed this experience to the analytical side of cannabis cultivation, knowing what devices to use to test the plants, feed, environment, finished product and interpret the data from findings. Scott also has many years of agricultural work experience and an understanding of agricultural systems based upon his upbringing on working farms, all of which had helped Scott develop a passion for plants and give him a ‘green thumb’.
Brenleigh Knutson was born and raised in Chatham Ontario and studied Human Resources and business development. Once completed she relocated abroad to study languages and travel the world. After living in several different countries, she returned to London, Ontario and became employed as the Director of Marketing for a local clinic. Working directly with social media marketing, website development and patient acquisition, Brenleigh was able to help build a new model of clinic and introduce new technologies to London Ontario. Her experience of working within marketing and business development positions have helped her move into this new role with Curative Cannabis as Vice President of Business Development.
Michael Inman is a quality assurance professional from the London, Ontario area. Michael has been involved in the cannabis industry since 2013, and has gone through nearly every aspect of running a licensed production facility - from application to sales license approval. The road to the cannabis industry for Michael began after completing his master’s of science degree (M.Sc.) which was specialized in plant biochemistry and physiology - specifically, plant stress. Michael was approached to assist in writing an application under the previous Canadian cannabis regulations. He gained significant experience in quality assurance as the quality assurance manager at a medical device, natural health product, and drug disinfectant manufacturer, certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. Michael obtained his certified quality technician (CQT) designation in 2017. Michael is heavily involved in the music community in London as a chorister and board of directors member for Amabile Choirs of London, Canada - a choir he has been with for over 20 years.
Prior to joining Curative, Tristin was a Manager at Ernst & Young LLP in their Assurance practice. His experience in public accounting has spanned a variety of industries, with a focus on manufacturing and distribution. He has advised and collaborated with financial decision-makers of companies ranging from local owner-operators to Canada’s largest OEMs. Tristin is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA CA), and holds an honours degree from the University of Western Ontario. Outside of work, Tristin actively volunteers in his community; serving as a director on several not-for-Profit Boards.
Growing up in London, Ontario, David Shpilt has been involved in the community for many years. A former board certified pedorthist, Dave helped thousands of patients gain a higher quality of life before taking his career in a new direction. Since 2014, Dave has been bringing physicians together with complementary and alternative practitioners in order to create the clinic model of the future. In addition to developing professional relationships with physicians, Dave strongly believes in patient education and offering his clinic patients a wide range of top-notch services. His experience and skill-set have made him a natural fit for the medical marijuana industry.
